Here's Nosy Rosy setting up in her swing not wanting to miss anything. She does this now and it cracks me up. Rarely does she ever lean back and relax, she has to know what's going on. She got quiet and this is what we found...

Newest Trick

As cliche as it sounds, and as many times as I've said it I must say it again...My baby is growing up so fast! This is her newest trick :) She pulls up on the couch. I really think her goal is not to just purely stand up it's to chew on the couch! lol

She was licking the couch here. That's another one of her new things. She licks and chews everything! There is never a dull moment that's for sure!

 On a side note here's what I've been up to. Painting! I mean who knew choosing the perfect non-blue gray could be so hard. Five samples later I chose the second one :) For the record the other room colors weren't as difficult.

Teething

 Avery is in full teething mode. She doesn't have any through yet but she's working hard on them that's for sure. I can feel two just right there ready to come in. I feel like one morning we'll wake up and there will be both teeth. She does really well with teething, she just wants to chew on everything. When I say everything that's exactly what I mean! She likes to find power cords to roll to and chew on. The air purifier cord seems to be her favorite! lol (Having said that it's not like I let her set around and chew on power cords. When I'm out of the room for 2.5 seconds to take her bottle in the kitchen or to grab a diaper, she rolls and grabs one. She's done it 3 times. As soon as I see her I take it away and move her.) She even tries to chew our faces. When I give her a bath she tries to chew on my arm and the wash cloth. Anything she can get her hands immediately goes in her mouth.
She doesn't get a fever with teething, and she doesn't get real moody. She gets frustrated though, she'll bite something so hard it makes her shake and sometimes she'll let out this loud scream when she does it. Then she's her happy self :)

All Is Well

I've gotten tons of messages on facebook and through email asking if Avery is ok since I haven't posted on her blog or facebook lately. In case any one else is wondering the answer is, all is well and she's doing perfect. She has had some allergy issues with a runny nose but that's it. I thought she was getting her first cold but it turned out to be just allergies. She's on the mend and Claritin is starting to work it's wonders. It's so sweet of everyone to check on her, so thanks to all of you that asked :)
We've recently closed on our new house. Yay! With that comes lots of work. We've been slowly packing up our current house, trying to paint our new house, picking out things for our new house. All this with a baby, so it's a very slow process. Especially when I can't just pack up Avery and take her shopping with me. I have to wait until my Mom is free to come watch her. I'm not complaining one bit, just saying it's going slow and taking up lots of time trying to get everything done.
So that's why I haven't been posting on her blog lately, and probably won't very often over the next 2 weeks.
I really enjoy her blog and I had just planed to blog about her first year (which might I add she'll be 1 in a little over a month). I love it though so I won't stop once she's one. She's just too cute, sweet and hilarious not to share :) Any hoo here's some pics of the little toot...

Playing Hard

 Avery got up in play mode this morning. We played with her kitchen, watched Baby Einstein, and she rolled around for 2 hours straight. After all that she was exhausted and actually fell asleep for the very first time in the floor.
On another note she looked huge today for some reason. I really feel like she grew overnight. Or it could just be the horizontal stripes on her pants? hehe

Funny Girl

Tanya...What?

Now I will explain the title of this post. This noise Avery makes in the video is her favorite sound to make other than Dada. It's our least favorite! lol She does it when she's happy, mad and when she's just playing in the floor all by herself. Actually what she does in the video is mild compared to how she usually sounds.
My sister starting calling her Tanya when she does it, because her voice sounds so raspy like Tanya Tucker! lol It's hilarious.

To Granny's House We Go

Yesterday was our very first visit to my Granny's house. She was so excited we came, it was after all a huge moment. It was the second place Avery had ever been. We were hoping the whole family could have came but a couple of the little ones had a sniffle so they didn't get to come. I really appreciate them not exposing Avery to their sickness. Hopefully next time everyone will be well and can meet our little miracle.

We had a great time and Avery did so well out of her usual environment. She wasn't her loud, laughing, smiley self but she did good and didn't cry a single time. We look forward to many more visits this Summer.

This is my Dad with Avery of course. She really likes him and *gasp* let him feed her a bottle! She only lets me and Josh on occasion so I was very impressed :)
